Extra Inventory? Buy, Sell and Trade with the IEC!
As school comes to an end and summer begins, many schools find themselves cleaning out classrooms, closets, warehouses and more in efforts of getting rid of unwanted items that have been accumulating over the years. Many times, this leads to dumpsters upon dumpsters of items headed to the landfill. However, the IEC provides an alternative solution. With our Buy, Sell and Trade program, your old and unwanted items can become a treasure for another school system, saving them money and helping to better our environment.
Using the Buy, Sell and Trade program, you can do just that. It is a site where visitors can connect with others to buy posted items, list unwanted inventory for sale or arrange a trade with other visitors. It works very similar to the classified ads in the paper – and it’s free to use!
To access the Buy, Sell and Trade site, visit www.iec-ia.org and click on the blue ‘Buy, Sell & Trade’ button on the left navigation column. From there you can read a brief introduction on the program and access the online form to post an item. To browse currently posted items, simply float your mouse or cursor over the Buy, Sell & Trade button to see the different categories that have items available.
