What's New in the Fall 2007 A/V Co-op Catalog

The Fall 2007 Catalog is now online and is also available in PDF format. Customers may order as often as needed anytime before December 14, 2007. Many new items are listed as well as all of the products that you have ordered in the past. The best way to find these new items is to look for the β€œNEW” icon. There are over 180 items listed that are designated as new. These items can be found spread throughout the AV Co-op Catalog.


Some new products of particular interest include: AccuCut die cut machines and dies that allow you to create all kinds of cut out letters and shapes and in several sizes.  AccuCut offers a 20% discount off of their catalog price for many of their items. See the AV/Computer Co-op catalog item#1005 for details.  Velcro fasteners, both in strip and button format, are adhesive backed and can be used in many school applications. Pexagon Technology Inc. offers personalized engraved USB flash drives and can be purchase in quantity for best pricing or used as a fundraiser.  See item# 4545 in the AV/Computer Co-op catalog for details. All Viewsonic video presentation products, with discounted prices, are currently being negotiated and will appear in the catalog soon.

With the advent of the FCC ruling requiring all over the air TV signals to be broadcast in a digital format by February 2009, the AV co-op no longer offers CRT analog TVs. New flat panel TVs offered come in sizes from 19” to 52” and are LCD or plasma format. Both Peerless Industries and Bretford Inc. provide AV carts on which flat screens can be mounted. Multimedia projectors may be used when larger views are required. There are 13 projectors used in classrooms and larger rooms, some include wireless and network capabilities. Our portable is bright and weighs 3.9 lbs. The InFocus Lite Show II is a wireless presentation adapter that allows presentations from your computer to be transmitted wirelessly to the projector. Peerless mounting brackets are available for most TV and projector applications.

 

Other new items include a table-top speaker for an iPod, a low priced audio card reader as well as blank and pre-formatted audio cards to provide instant lessons. You will want to check out the NSPIRE graphing calculator new from Texas Instrument. The AV Co-op catalog also offers student workbooks covering many calculator topics.

 New computer related products include child-size keyboards and mice, laptop batteries, and 3-4 TB Ethernet Disk Raid storage drives.

 

Many of the digital cameras, camcorders and their accessories are new models and are available from several manufacturers. Our Canon contract allows IEC AV Co-op customers the opportunity to purchase Canon products at a discount. Document/presentation cameras include Elmo, AverMedia, Samsung, Qomo, and Ken-a-vision are included in the "Camera" product heading. There are many other new products waiting for you to find them.
