IEC Welcomes New Purchasing Assistant
The Iowa Educators Consortium team has grown! On March 16, 2009, the IEC warmly welcomed Joni Puffett to their team. With a background in public relations and marketing, Joni will stay busy serving as a cooperative purchasing assistant and helping the IEC expand their reach while continuing its steady growth.
After being on the job for only one month, her plate is quickly filling up as she has jumped right in to working with our Buy, Sell, Trade program, IEC Software Store, and working with our media and technology coordinator to promote and build upon current purchasing agreements.
“Knowing that I can help schools save money during such difficult economic times is very satisfying.” says Puffett. “I’m looking forward to helping them find ways to continue providing their students with the best education possible while maintaining a sustainable budget.”
