Earlier this spring, we announced a new vendor for our IEC Software Store -- JourneyEd. JourneyEd offers select software titles for personal purchase at substantial discounts -- up to 85% off retail prices!
Students, faculty and staff from Iowa K-12 schools are eligible to purchase through JourneyEd. In addition, this contract is also open to public library and museum staff. Purchases made through JourneyEd are for personal/at home use only. The IEC is able to secure such great pricing by partnering with software producers who cater to the K-12 educational market. Most popular titles for purchase include Microsoft Office suites and Adobe Creative Suite selections.
Ordering is easy. Simply visit www.journeyed.com/select and follow the drop down menus to get to your institution. From there, shop to your heart’s desire on web pages created just for Iowa schools and the Iowa Educators Consortium.
When ordering, you will need to provide JourneyEd with proof of your current academic status or employment status (for public libraries and museums). No order will be shipped until a valid ID is received. Orders can be placed at anytime. All orders will be put on hold until academic/employment proof is authenticated. Upon receipt of your proof, JourneyEd will ship out your order.
It is important to know that some restrictions do apply. Discounts may vary by product and client. For example, public library and museum staff currently are not eligible to receive discounts on Adobe products. Only students in grades 6-12 are eligible for discounted Adobe products.
