These 3 products are all based off of the symbols that are utilized in the News-2-You paper as well as the standards based curriculum, Unique Learning System. | ||||||

| Unique Learning System Unique Learning System is the only online, dynamic, standards-based curriculum specifically designed for special learners. Subscribers download monthly instructional thematic units of study. Each unit contains 27 lesson plans and downloadable materials that teachers can readily implement into classroom learning activities. All materials are created using SymbolStix graphics. The unit lesson plans define three levels of differentiated tasks to accommodate the diversity of learners with significant disabilities. |

| News-2-You News‐2‐You is a symbol‐supported, simple text electronic newspaper delivered weekly on the Internet. Its focus is on current events. Each issue is wrapped around a newsworthy and appropriate subject of interest to our readers in the special education and beginning reader communities. News‐2‐You stands alone as the national newspaper for special education, a role akin to that of the New York Times in print journalism. We are “the paper of record” by default; only News‐2‐You tackles “real world” topics and serves them up in an accessible format specifically tailored for students with significant disabilities. |

| Symbolstix Online SymbolStix is America’s newest and most dynamic symbol set. Symbolstix Online has been designed and developed by N2Y, Inc. for use in its Internet weekly newspaper, News-2-You, and its new online curriculum, Unique Learning System. Generic activities and persons are depicted as lively, vibrant stick figures - stick figures with "an attitude." (Actual persons incorporated in SymbolStix are drawn as easily recognizable characterizations.) The current suite numbers over 12,000 individual drawings/icons. SymbolStix helps low-level and non-readers easily understand text and improve literacy. Symbolstix Online allows subscribers to download and use the symbols in AAC templates or any other application including, Word, PowerPoint, SymbolMate or Boardmaker. |
