Students and staff have access at school and at home (Internet access required), 24 hours a day, seven days a week! These online resources support the content standards for school curriculum and student learning by bringing a wealth of information to teachers and students wherever they may be, with just the click of a mouse. Edition)

A collection of over 2.5 million searchable clip art, photos, images, fonts and sounds that may be used in teacher-created instructional materials such as vocabulary and concept development, newsletters, student assignments, multimedia presentations, web pages and more....

EBSCO

EBSCO is the largest school  subscription agency of full-text periodicals, newspapers and reference tools for elementary, middle and high school students. These resources provide excellent coverage of science, health, multicultural issues, music, politics, history, geography, etc. Lexile reading levels are identified for magazine articles. Teachers have access to over 500 education journals covering information on everything from children’s health and development to cutting-edge pedagogical theory and practice.

 

Multimedia Archive

This database of Associated Press Archives allows teachers and students to incorporate information from AP stories, photos and sound into their reports, term papers and presentations. Resources include photos from the 1840s until moments ago, full-text articles from the Associated Press, audio clips, charts, graphs, tables and maps.

 

SIRS Researcher

SIRS Researcher is a general reference database containing thousands of full-text articles exploring social, scientific, health, historic, business, economic, political, and global issues.

unitedstreaming

unitedstreaming is a web- based digital video delivery system from Discovery Education which provides over 4,000 videos and segmented into content-specific video clips. The video is available for streaming, downloading or scheduled downloading. In addition, Iowa AEAs are cooperatively licensing additional digital content, which will also be seamlessly delivered through the unitedstreaming interface.

 

World Book Online

World Book Online includes continuously updated articles from the 22-volume print set plus thousands of additional articles, pictures, maps, videos, animations, and links to other websites. New for 2006-2007 are the World Book Research Libraries which have been specially developed to provide students with broad access to primary source material. Each library is an extensive online collection in one of eight areas: U.S. history, world history, political science and law, social science, literature, science and mathematics, philosophy and religion, and language.
